"It's never too late to be who you were meant to be"

George Elliot

Welcome to  AngelaLee Counselling

Life can be challenging! Many people I came across want their lives to be different. They try to use work, relationships, alcohol, drugs, etc. to make themselves feel better, and yet they find themselves feeling and doing the same thing unable to break free from whatever issues that are holding them back. Many are walking around disconnected from who they are and the world around them. The unresolved stories of the past continue to impact the present. You might tell yourself, 'I'll always feel like this' ,'I'll never change' ,'I'm permanently damaged' or 'I'll just survive''

Imagine how life would be if you were no longer held back by your past.

How would you feel if you were able to step into who you really are and feel empowered again?

Many do not realise that empathic and nonjudgemental support could go a long way in helping them. Seeking the help and support of a counsellor could make it just a lot easier to get unstuck and move forward in life. Some of you might have gone through unimaginable trauma and you might feel like no one understands what you are going through. Having done my own therapy to recover from trauma, I understand how difficult it is to share our deepest struggle and pain with another person. I understand how hard it is to recover and move beyond our past. But I believe recovery is always possible and there is always hope.

Angela has helped me greatly with my depression. She helped me to identify my triggers and become more aware of my surroundings. She also helped me to see things from different perspectives.  It was easy to talk about my struggles with Angela. I felt heard and accepted.
